How We Started
April Clark, a second generation native of Reno, created The Roost in 2017. She left ‘corporate America’ to create her own dream of owning a coffee shop and serving the people in her community. Her daughter, Gabby, quickly became a major part of the dream as she moved into management and became a great partner working with the staff day to day. They both play major daily rolls with the staff and the customers and make sure each cup served is the made with quality while knowing and treating the customers as friends.
Customers no more than 2 feet tall counting their age on one hand, or any four-legged family members are our favorite customers. We quickly make drinks with whipped cream on a straw, or specialty dog treats to create amazing memories to those important family members.
